Comfort Zone can provide regularly scheduled services that assist individuals in maintaining a healthy and productive life at home and in the community through Living Hope Private Home Care.  These services are individually tailored supports that assist with the acquisition, retention or improvement of skills related to participants’ continued residence in their family homes. ​

Skilled Nursing
Comfort Zone caregivers will be at your service when your elderly or disabled loved one requires skilled care that you can no longer provide due to a lack of experience and training.   These Caregivers are licensed and competent nurses who are trained and can carry out a wide range of Skilled Nursing services as per your Doctor’s orders. Your loved one will be assisted to recover and heal in the comfort of their home, not in a facility somewhere.
Comfort Zone Skilled Nurses will provide Services which will include, but not be limited to:

• Medication Administration, Management and Teaching

• Tube feeding

• Wound Care 

• Urinary Catheter Insertion and changing

• Injections

• Chronic disease management (diabetes, COPD, CHF)

• Care for Alzheimer and Dementia patients

• Other services as ordered by your Doctor and within the Nurses’ scope of practice.

Personal Care Tasks
Comfort Zone caregivers will assist your loved one so they can continue living safely and independently in the comfort of their own home.
Personal Care services offered include:

• Assistance in getting in & out of bed

• Hair styling/ dental care/skin care

• Help climbing steps

• Help with bathing & showering

• Help with dressing

• Hydration reminders

• Incontinence care

• Light exercise assistance

• Meal planning and preparation

• Medication reminders

• Monitor diet & eating habits

• Safety supervision

• Light housekeeping

Companion/ Sitter Tasks
Comfort Zone caregivers will engage your loved one in activities such as: 

• Conversation/ Friendship/ Laughter

• Walks

• Reading a good book

• Mental stimulation

• Exploring life stories

• Enjoying new experiences

• Light housekeeping

• Infection Control

• Safety

Caregivers will also provide respite for your caregiver if you need this service.

Community Living Support (CLS)
These services are meant to provide skills training and personal assistance to help increase a Individual’s level of independence in their home and their community. Comfort Zone caregivers will assist your loved one with activities such as:

• Assistance with money management

• Community engagement activities

• Medication reminders

• Daily chore reminders and oversight

• Communication building skills

Specialized Medical Supplies 
These services will be provided to Individuals with Medicaid Waivers and will include:

• Incontinent Supplies e.g. Diapers, Chucks, Wipes

• Gauze dressing/bandages

• Sterilization products

• Feeding tubes

• Specialized latex gloves, etc.

OTHER SERVICES:

Medical Appointment Errands:
Comfort Zone Caregivers will assist with services which include:

• Scheduling doctor’s appointments

• Organizing paperwork required for the visit 

• Assistance in getting dressed

• Provide transportation to and from the doctors/hospital visit

• Assistance in getting in and out of the vehicle

• Accompany clients to medical appointments

• Assistance during the check-up itself

• Prescriptions drop off at pharmacy and picking up medications

• Shopping for groceries

• Mail

• Other errands as agreed upon

Respite Care: 
Assistance will be provided to the caregiver who is the ‘boots on the ground’ for your loved one. This caregiver can easily get burnt out due to the many hats they wear e.g….caregiver, host/hostess, companion, chauffer, housekeeper, cook,…and the list goes on. We are here to give this unsung hero a break. 
In collaboration with you, the regular Caregiver, and your loved ones’ choice, we will provide services such as: 

• Assistance with toileting

• Assistance with dressing

• Medication reminders 

• Reading to client

• Maintaining your loved one’s safety at all times

• Grocery Shopping

• Light housekeeping /Laundry

24/7 In-Home Care 
Comfort Zone’s quest to provide great personal and professional care goes above and beyond providing care within the ‘’normal hours of business’’.  We will listen to your request and together we will come up with a plan that meets your needs. If this will include us working with you/your loved one for 24/7, then so be it!. We will be there. Any and all changes will be reported to our Nursing Supervisor with immediate follow-up with you/your Physician.
