Day Program

 

Liz & Karyn Adult Day Health Service

 

Comfort Zone owns and operates a day program (Liz & Karyn Adult Day Health Service) that provides opportunities for adults with developmental disabilities to participate in meaningful activities within their own communities.  Along with community based activities, the day program also provides transportation services that enable participants to gain access to and from the day program, in addition to, other community services, activities, resources, and organizations typically utilized during day program hours.

CAI - Community Access Individual is designed to help participants acquire, retain or improve self-help, socialization and adaptive skills required for active participation and independent functioning outside the home with a 1 to 1 staff/individual ratio.

 

CAG - Community Access Group services are provided to groups of individuals, with a staff to individual ratio of one to two or more but no more than one (1) to ten (10).  Actual staff to individual ratio is based on individual need level of the participants in the group.

  • Arts & Crafts

  • Volunteer Services

  • Literacy

  • Health & Wellness

  • Exercise & Fitness

  • Community Inclusion

Hours of Operation

Monday - Friday

9:00am - 3:00pm

Who is eligible?

Adults, 18 or older, who has been diagnosed with a developmental / mental disability or medically fragile.
